Spring

The colors might be either too bright or too pale on this since I had to adjust it... the scan was too dark.

Epic title, I know.

So this is another giftart for Caroline, my 2nd mother. She likes hummingbirds (who doesn't?) and I wanted to paint her something cheerful and sunny, so here it is. This was my first time drawing hummingbirds, and I know the size ratios are probably not the best... but... well... it was an experiment.

I like the sense of motion in this picture at least.

I hope I'm getting a little better at watercolor all around... I overcolored the fuschia *smacks forehead* I wish I had left the colors softer there... but otherwise I think it turned out okay..
